In "No dogs bark" the region was like rocky and many small towns. They also have arroyo witch is a narrow gulch, dry except during heavy rain. in the story an old man was taking his hurt son to the closes town to get him to the doctor. The man asked his son if he hears any dogs barking tell his, but when he hears the dogs his does not tell his father because that means they are close to a town and does not want to. The son does not want to because he did bad things in his life and he wanted his dad to just put him down and let him die, but the dad will not. By the end they find a town.
The kind of parent I will be is a good and hardworking parent. I will make sure that my kides act right. How I will deal with my teenage son/daughter is when they are bad I will yell at them and sent them to there room and they can't came out till I say so. Maybe I like Igancios father because I would always be there to help me kid.
