"Africa" By:David Diop (Senegal)

The poetry about Africa is about how the people see Africa.  It says that Africa is a place where slavery was and how there grow stronger from it.  Also its about how they became stronger. It also say " The bitter taste of libery " was is what Africa was feeling at the time slavery ended because they had problems of becoming a real place. That is what people see of Africa.

I have a tribute to someone very cute I love and his name is Jayden.  He is the greatest kid every and he can ligten anyones day.  I can just look at him and I feel better.  I love how he always want to play the computer with me and when were just playing around.  He is one of the funniest kid to play with and I just love him. That was my tribute to the greatest kid every.

"The Last Jugement" By: Karel Capek (Czechoslovakia)

The story says the region of Czechoslovakia can be a place of danger.  It says that Czechoslovakia is a small place.  Also that in the story God can't judge you.  The story says the be good because in the end you are going to be judged and end up in a bad place.  That is what the story says.



  The consequences are when your alive you can have no friends/family, no life (job or future), of in jail. When you die the consequences are you can get sent to hell.  My opinion is that it was right because he was killing people when he was alive so he should not has a good life after death.  No I do not believe in karma.  Humans should be nice to humans bcause you will not have the same judgement as in the story and you can have a better life is you are nicer to people.

"First Confession" By:Frank O'Connor (Ireland)

The literature says that the Ireland region is a place where religion is an important part of there life.  In the "First Confession" it is important how they are getting the kids ready to go to there first confession.  The story also tells how the kids need to tell the whole truth when they go.  It tells that the little boy doesn't want to go.  That is what the story said about the region.

The church I would like to go to is a place that you can freely worship what you want and has fun activities.  Also that has people you can talk to when you have problems.  That would be a cruch I would love to go to!

"NIght" By:Elie Weisel (Poland)

In the story "Night" the region is told about kind of a lot.  The region of the places it was from is very different from eash other.  In Poland they were in the Aushwitz a concentration camp and it was not pretty.  In the camp it was dirty and people (mostly Jews) were dieing.  That was a bad place and region to live in.

The thing I will remember longest from this book is how Elie was save from the camp and got to tell his story of what really happen at the camp to the Jews.  The images that will be with me forever is when they killed the babies in the beginning of the book, the part when his father was beated,and the end went the rest of the Jews were saved and set free in the world.  The book has change my thinking by the thing I didn't know they did to the Jews.  The saddest part of the book is when they were taking the child away from there mother and never seeing them again.

"The Youngest Doll" By:Rosario Ferre ( Puerto Rico )

The story "The Youngest Doll" says that the region is near a river and that river was used a lot by the old lady. In the story says that women are not treated right by the men.  The old lady is also making dolls for all her sister's childen and the dolls are so life like.  Near the end of the story the doctor's son that come with his dad to help the old lady, married the youngest of her sister's children. At the end it seems like the wife of the doctor's son is a doll.

A tme in my life I was terrified was went I was watching a super scaried movie.  The scarest movie I ever saw was "Freddy Vs Jason" and I think it was scare because Freddy had knife hands and Jason had a very scare mask.  Mostly all movies with horror have killing and blood parts.

"The Handsomest Drowned Man In the World" By: Gabriel Garcia Marquez ( Columbia )

The story says that the people lived in a small village and everyone knows eashother. Also it tells that the people of the village lived by a river because of the drowned man.  The story is trying to say that the women wish there husbands were more like the dead man. The men in the story hate the dead man and want to kill the man again. By the end of the story they find the dead mans village.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

The kind of funeral I want is my family and friends to be around and to just be put in the ground and never touched again because I want people who care for me to be around and noone wants to touch a dead body.  No because I never remember being at a funeral. That they don't look at it in a bad way.

"No Dogs Bark" By:Juan Rulfo (Mexico)

In "No dogs bark" the region was like rocky and many small towns. They also have arroyo witch is a narrow gulch, dry except during heavy rain. in the story an old man was taking his hurt son to the closes town to get him to the doctor. The man asked his son if he hears any dogs barking tell his, but when he hears the dogs his does not tell his father because that means they are close to a town and does not want to.  The son does not want to because he did bad things in his life and he wanted his dad to just put him down and let him die, but the dad will not. By the end they find a town.

 The kind of parent I will be is a good and hardworking parent. I will make sure that my kides act right.  How I will deal with my teenage son/daughter is when they are bad I will yell at them and sent them to there room and they can't came out till I say so. Maybe I like Igancios father because I would always be there to help me kid.
